Wild Fires ranging accross the world (as a result of climate change), remind me of the need to preserve and appreciate our Waters, without which the fires would not be put out.  What do you think when you see,  feel or drink Water ?  It gives a cooling effect , refreshing, quenching thirst and sustaining life, its purpose is endless.  What we see around us and in others is a reflection of ourselves. We are like mirrors to each other so if we let our mind be like water, free and flowing, everything becomes clear and calm. If we surround ourselves with positive energy we automatically attract it and become positive. Cool Waters - is inspired by the idea of being free flowing yet strong like water, it slips through our fingers so easily though it's strong enough to hold ships. It is about overcoming challenging times and coming out on the other side, stronger and more purposeful. For every creative and every artist...it sometimes seems like it's a road walked alone..but its not... We Have a team behind us routing for us every day.... That team that connects the dots and make  everything come together is a combination of our will to persevere, our patience during challenging times when the painting doesn't go as imagined, our materials and mediums and knowing how to use them , when to use them when not to and which ones to use our commitment despite all odds, despite less time we make time.We don't make excuses we are dedicated to our craft.  Our team consists of our skills that are acquired through learning, and unlearning, mistakes and every experience that draws us nearer to our real potential and our team is complete through a never giving up approach.  Every artist 🎨who becomes one and stays one speaks:    I have a vision in my head, I have big dreams in my heart, I have projects that are begging to be in the world.   Two Exhibitions in April and May  that brought with them joy, happiness and excitement !  My two recently made pieces, Garden of Life  and Intrepid Voyage both became part of these shows.  I'm happy I could be part of the gallery exhibits  and it's one of the reasons I do art, it not only gives me joy during the process, but I'm grateful my work  has been appreciated. 

 ARTBOX.PROJECT WORLD 1.0  An international Art Exhibition took place at ARTBOX.GALLERY Zurich and worldwide on ARTSY the largest art platform with over 1 million verified art buyers.  The exhibition started on January 4, 2021 and till June.  All participants were shown digitally in the gallery on six different 4K, 55″ screens from January 4 – March 31, 2021 + presented on ARTSY with their artwork. It was an honour to be part of this show!  U.M Gallery, at the Waterfront, Karen Road, Nairobi Kenya currently holds some of my treasured pieces created in 2020 - 21. The U.M Gallery National Art Exhibition took off from beginning of 2020 to date and rotates various Artworks of Kenyan Artists, showcasing the range & diversity of artistic abilities our country holds. It's always a delight and joy to exhibit locally in my own home country.

Being recognised internationally is humbling and rewarding however when being given the honour in your own home country has its own joy. The project took place from 02 - 07 May 2021 as originally planned at the Valid World Hall gallery. Originally planned for 2020 the exhibition was moved to this year due to the Covid Pandemic! The exhibition showcased a mix of original artworks and digitally displayed works from international artists and I was honoured to be part of it!  ARTBOX.PROJECTS is founded by THE ARTBOX.GALLERY in Switzerland, with the goal of giving upcoming artists from all around the world a platform on which they can present their work to the public. Time is just a measure of particles in motion. To everyone it means something else. One minute to someone is an hour for someone else. When we are doing what we love or with who we love time seems to move fast when in trouble or doing what we do not like it seems to go on for ages. Why is that?...... Time is a perception..a mere contruct to keep order and control. If we let go of the control...say for one moment, time didn't exist in our minds... how much would we achieve, would we achieve more or less! or the same!.... How we have fit our duties, time lines, appointments, deadlines in our life dictates our reliance on time. It is life for us, if we lose it we lose life. If we master time, we mastered life and everything works well. But for a moment, if we stopped that, society, systems, protocols would be alterclocks moving fast...
