Birds of Kenya .....

The avifauna of Kenya include 1105 species, eight are endemic, 75 are accidental, and two have been introduced by humans. An additional six species are considered "uncertain" and are not included in the count. From those found in Kenya,  55 that are already endangered. Glenn, C. R. 2006. Accessed 7/15/2018 at http://earthsendangered.com.  Being from Kenya and also having  fondness for the nature around me, I have started a collection of birds artworks native to Kenya, with the aim of raising awareness of those that are critically endangered. Below are some of the artworks I have created within the last few months of Birds in Kenya : 

Van Der Plas Gallery Show!

From the 8 January to 14 January 2018, Van Der Plas Gallery in New York will be having a group art exhibition and I am honoured to be selected to be part of the show with my piece, 'Family Connections' (family of elephants) which has been sold to a customer from Kenya. For those in New York, do make your way to 156 Orchard Street , between 12 pm - 6pm. An opening reception is scheduled for  Wednesday, January 10th, from 6-8 p.m.* for the exhibition.
