In less than a month, on 30 April we will be celebrating the International Jazz Day.... a day that brings together comunities, artists, academics, jazz lovers, historians, cultural and social entrepeneurs together to celebrate and learn about the value of Jazz its impact and tradition. It is a day dedicated to promoting intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding and international communication, respect for diversity and human rights as well as promoting freedom of expression , gender equality and social change. In November 2011, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization ( UNESCO ) officially designated April 30 as International Jazz Day to highlight jazz and its role of uniting people in all corners of the globe.
