About Me

Taskin: Nairobi, Kenya; Colours have always moved me and shapes always intrigued me. This is my space for expression, freedom, positivity, tranquility through painting! I paint my dreams, my hopes, my vision ; every time i pick the brush im reminded of the beauty that is still yet to discover, the path that is yet to be travelled; the opportunities that are yet to be siezed, and so i paint some more and travel the path to freedom where opportunity awaits and life holds meaning in every breath of existence. I paint sunsets and sun rises as the changing colours and light as the day unfolds always fascinates me. My artwork is mainly in mediums of oils, acrylic, mixed media with paintings ranging from landscapes to abstract. In the past I have painted still life and created pen/ink drawings.
